Sometimes we think that we have to make major changes in our lives to get ourselves on track. But in reality, major changes are the result of a series of Small Steps.

| Sort the bills in your wallet. Put small bills in front for easy access, and large bills behind for security. At the same time, dump loose change into a jar for savings. Every time you touch money, you should feel a sense of security, not disorganization. |
| 10 Minutes or Less |
| List 10 things you are really, really good at. List 10 things you wish you were really, really good at. |
| 15 Minutes or Less |
| Review your homeowner's or renter's insurance to be sure that you have ''replacement cost'' coverage, not ''cash value'' coverage, of your valuables. Cash value only covers the current value of your possessions, not what it would cost to replace them. At the same time, be sure that your house is accurately valued for current market conditions and remodeling projects. |
